Re: weekend plans??

  • Fri. - cleaning at dentist; bachelorette party in Old City for one of my grad school friends

Sat. and Sun.: No real plans... DH is off this weekend... yaaaaay! We'll prob go to lunch at Cheesecake Factory (we have gift cards) and hit up DSW.

  • Friday- movie night with DH and prepping food for Saturday's family BBQ.

Saturday- Family BBQ at our house.

    Sunday- clean/relax

  • Friday- not sure- maybe date night

Saturday- pool then the IL's are coming for dinner

Sunday- pool and then my mom is coming down and spending the night

Monday- hanging out with my mom all day!

  • Friday- we head down to start our vacation at Seaview Marriott in Galloway. I've never been there but I've heard good things. We traded in our vacation club week without really going far. Since the H works tonight, we'll probably just relax tomorrow night.

Saturday- Maybe just hanging out by the pool and going to dinner

Sunday-going to a BBQ at my cousin's since we won't be too far from where she lives

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
  • Fri night- Dr's apt.  and the in laws are coming over for dinner and to choose what pro pics they want for their parent album.

Saturday- Beach, and then maybe out to dinner with DH.

Sunday- Beach and then dinner at DH's gmom as usual.

Irishgrl417- We stayed at the Seaview Marriot  for our wedding (which actually they renamed..but I forget what it's called now- someone bought it out.) and we loved it!  It's beautiful and the restaurant there is very good.  Hope you have fun!

  • The Seaview Marriott is such a nice hotel! Make sure you visit the spa- it is fantastic! Also, Dolce bought out Seaview so it is no longer a Marriott and they will not accept your marriott card or give you points for your stay. DH and I just stayed their last month.
  • Lots of relaxing @ the house w/ H!!!  Yeah!!!!

    Brunch w/ the girls!

More relaxing and some cleaning / organizing! :)

  • Tomorrow I'm having lunch at my friend's house who just had a baby, then I'm going out for a girl's night in Philly with my neighbors. I just left Jack tonight to go to the Phillies game and I was on edge the whole time (we were only gone 4 hours). Hopefully it gets easier tomorrow night! I cant believe how much I missed him after 4 hours!

Saturday we're just hanging out at home. We'll probably watch Stop Loss from Netflix.

Sunday we're heading down to Cape May until Tuesday (or earlier if the baby doesn't cooperate). Our families are down there for the week.

  • Fri-hopefully some cleaning/organizing of this house and looking for carpet possibly

Sat-probably a lazy morning and then we've got a poolside birthday party in the afternoon

    Sun-church, relax, yard work

  • Thanks for the info ladies. I've never actually gone to a spa, I just may have to check it out as an early anniversary gift for myself. I guess not getting points for our stay doesn't matter as long as they didn't lose our reservation when they changed names since we reserved by exchanging our Marriott Vacation club week in Florida for a week there and I only heard about the management change here. My H is at work and I hope I didn't make him too nervous when I emailed him with "hey, did you know the hotel changed names?"

  • Looks like where we're staying the Fairway Villas might not have changed hands because it wasn't part of the hotel just somehow connected/related. It's a timeshare type place where people hold partial ownership so I guess that makes it separate. Just assuming since The Seaview is no longer accessible from the Marriott site but you apparently can still make Fairway Villa reservations.

But it's still near the spa so that's the only thing I need to worry about. Since I've never been to a spa before, what do you recommend I get?

The Villas are fantastic and I forgot they are still apart of the Marriott Club so that is a good thing. Also, the spa is right across from the villas. Depending on which villa you are staying in it is walking distance. If you don't feel like walking you can always call the front desk and ask for a transport and they will come pick you up and drive you around the lot to the spa. I went twice and the spa was amazing! It is one of my favorite spas!! Hope you have a great time!

  • oooh, spa recs...a facial or a massage. Maybe a mani/pedi.
