I'm feeling feisty today

I just told my co-worker/friend that her long shirt (goes all the way down past her butt and it's tight) doesn't go with her capri's (just below the knee). It just looks funny.

I feel so rude. But it's the truth. Embarrassed

Re: I'm feeling feisty today

  • I am feisty today too. I made two posts on MM and wanted to argue with every response. I had to close the window.
  • Hey- at least you told her! I would hate to be walking around looking like an idiot and nobody was kind enough to tell me!

I used to exclusively hang out on MM- but so many of those ladies are SO unrealistic... the way many of them live just seems sooooo not possible for many people- and they have to realize that not everybody has been a perfect person when it comes to credit, spending, saving, etc...

Ha! I hate it when people don't read follow up posts. To be fair, I did not state in my original post that I didn't want a macbook (well, I would love one but I'm not asking my parents to spend that kind of money) but in TWO follow up posts I noted that a macbook was not on the table.

Blah. So I left the nest and took myself to lunch at Cheesecake Factory.

  • Nice!  I have to admit, it was kinda nice having lunch by myself today.  I have officially lost my mind, I think!  But the salad was THAT good.  Hope yours was, too!

PS - I love my Macbook for the iPhoto program.  Love, love, love it!  But yeah, I think they're around $1,100.  =/

  • I had the most delish salad myself! So glad I went out but now wishing I'd had a piece of cheesecake too. I know...who goes to Cheesecake Factory and doesn't have cheesecake!?

I feel like since MH has the macbook pro we don't need two in the house. His is like his child but I don't know that I use my laptop enough (other than internet) to justify the cost.

  • Confession:  I have never had cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.  I go for the avocado egg rolls and salads.

I didn't read that your H has a Pro. I agree that two aren't necessary.  I have had bad luck with Dells, though  =/

  • I currently have a Toshiba and it's great, but my parents have brand new ones and they are freaking gigantic and heavy...not sure if there are smaller models though because I haven't been computer shopping in ages.

I've never had a Dell and haven't heard much about them one way or the other. I literally use my computer for excel (budgeting) and internet so I definitely don't need anything fancy!

  • I read your thread and wanted to say Macbook just to be funny :)  But seriously- I have the HP from Costco and H has one too and we have had them for about 1.5 years with NO problems.

Mine finally decided it hated me because I downloaded the wrong version of Photoshop- so it kinda got confused- I just have to reinstall Vista - but that was of my own doing- not the computer's.  Plus they're pretty reasonably priced if you're looking for something functional.
