Megan-

Had to tell you that I tried the pizza last night and it was so yummy!  In fact DH and I ate almost the entire pizza and that was even after eating side salads first!  I used red pepper instead of tomato.  DH said its definitely a keeper so thanks again for sharing that with all of us!!

  • Yum, I can't wait to make this.

  • We're going to be trying your other grilled pizza (pepperoni) this weekend.  I couldn't find the "crust" you were talking about, so I got some thick greek pita bread that I found near the bakery section.  I think it'll work, but we'll see.  Thanks for the idea!

  • Becki...the pillsbury crust is in the refrigerated section with the pillsbury crescent rolls and cookies, etc.  They have a thin crust version and a regular version.  I don't like the thin version as much but it still works.  They are almost always a staple in my fridge because I use the crust for my spinach chicken calzone recipe :)

I think Becki might have been talking about the Naan bread that was mentioned when someone asked how to grill pizza.  An awesome idea, by the way. I think we're going to try that one day this week.  We love naan :)

  • Ahh!  Oops...I forgot about that one!
  • Glad that you liked it Jen!! We had 6 different kinds of grilled pizza plus a huge sheet of the white pizza last night that I did in the oven, and everyone loved it. Always a pleaser!

And yup, the Naan is for the grilling. But pita should work fine, just remember to butter the bottom so it gets crispy!
