stroller question

Does anyone know the brand or the company if at all that makes strollers that have a convertable handle

ie: when I was little they had strollers that either the child rode backwards or forwards!?

TIA

Re: stroller question

  • We would only look at strollers that had this. The brands that I found (that are sold in Canada) are:

Silver Cross Linear Freeway, Uppababy Vista, Peg Perego Pliko Switch, Bumbleride Flyer, Maxi-Cosi Foray, Quinny Buzz, First Wheels City Elite.

I'm sure there are a few more, but these were the ones in our price range. Some of these have seats that turn back or forwards and some just have handles that you can change.

We ended up buying the Flyer.

  • Bugaboo Cameleon (what we have) and Frog both have reversing handlebars and a seat that can face forwards or backwards. The Bugaboo Bee's handles don't reverse, but the seat can.
  • Thanks ladies... there was quite a variety!

How would you know the prices on any other these; and did you have to order online or where there some stores that carry these strollers?!

  • I have the Peg Perego Uno and it does this.  I bought the 2008 and it was $400.  I believe the current model is $499 (or more).  I haven't used mine yet though so I don't have a review on it.

Most of the strollers listed are usually sold at boutique stores.  They aren't always sold at the chain stores.

  • I just PM'd you the spread sheet I made when we were looking at strollers. Some of the info may need to be updated as we bought ours 4-5 mos. ago.
