What's the perfect sized blanket for little ones? 36' by 36' or a little bigger or smaller? I went fabric "looking" with my SIL tonight and found some great neutrals that I want to make into a blanket.

I have ZERO clue. I have a few blankets of different sizes and they all seemed to work well in the first few months.
What's the blanket for? Swaddling? Cuddling? If it's for swaddling, just make sure it's broad enough to fully tuck/wrap behind the baby's body.
