Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. How was your weekend? Can you believe it is almost August!

I had a really busy but really good weekend.
Friday we hung out with Seth's family that was in town and went to an art musuem that was free for the night.
Saturday we got ready for the wedding, went over to Seth's parent's house to hang out with family some more and then drove 3 hours to a friend's wedding. DH and I decided that we are glad we are done with weddings for the year as they are all starting to look the same.
Sunday we hung out with family some more and then went to the Cox Classic (golf tournament) for the afternoon which was a lot of fun. DH really likes golf so it was fun to learn more about it and see him in his element.

Sunday we relaxed. It was a little rainy here so it was a great day to be lazy!
Ours was nice for the most part. We went to the lake with a bunch of friends and went to Alan Jackson's Aquapalooza concert. There were about 3,000 boats there so we met some really cool people and had a really nice time. The pontoon boat wouldn't start that afternoon though (dead battery) so we had to take the Master Craft over which was a little crowded for all 14 of us! lol!
Yesterday DH was wakeboarding and cut in to take a jump at too sharp of an angle, the toe edge caught the wake and he went down. hard. He has some pretty major whiplash, a minor concussion, and his knee is hurting again. I felt really bad for him because I know how bad that hurts
He's staying in bed for most of today and I already talked to his sports med doctor who is going to see him this afternoon and see if there's anything he can do.
I took Friday off and went and hung out with my lil bro. It was great to have that time, we are 10 years apart so i want to make sure that I am active in his life. Dh got a lead in the job hunt so that was exciting
Saturday we drove down to the beach with a group of friends for DH's B day and mine. We camped out at Carolina Beach! It was great fun!
Sunday we drove back and got the dogs!
Pretty good. And no I can't believe it's almost August, crazy! Also Huskers, I saw a guy with a Huskers shirt on Friday and thought of you, cuz of your SN
Friday we went to dinner and dessert and saw Orphan. In short it sucked and I wouldn't suggest it. I'm not sure what I was expecting because I love horror movies, but it wasn't great at all. But I don't want to ruin it for those who may want to see it, so I'll stop now.
Saturday we went through and picked wedding pictures to have printed and got them uploaded but still haven't ordered them yet. Costco.com is having awesome sales on their prints, they are dirt cheap right now
Then we went shopping, got a new vacuum and made dinner.
Yesterday was chuch and a friend came over with her babies. Soo cute. And I tried to rip my nail off. My God, that hurt. And of course it was my texting thumb, so now I can't text worth anything. Grr. But I didn't lose the nail at least haha [I have acrillics]

Our weekend was busy. We finished packing on Friday night. Then Saturday, some friends came over to help move and it took all day. Sunday we started to unpack. I'll be happy when it is done.
I can't believe that it is almost August either. I start teaching in three weeks -- scary!
