I need a vacation from the vacation I just got back from. We're so tired. DH and I aren't used to being awakened every morning at 4:30 with my niece crying and then again at 6:30 with Thunderfoot, I mean my 2 year old niece running up and down the hallway.
To make matters worse, I sprained my ankle and tore all the ligaments the first night there in the ocean.
Getting an x-ray tomorrow to make sure nothing is broken.
I only have one....My toe is injured, and it is all DH fault. He had to block the drive way and the garage with lawn equipment, making me park on the side of the house, and walk around, causing me to slice my toe on the sidewalk. Ok, the real reason I did it, is because I am friggin 7 foot tall and cannot walk in heels, but by blaming him, he buys me new shoes, so I am sticking with that story. My toes still hurts, and it made yoga impossible today! Aside from that, no complaints
*love the rain but hate the fact that my husband might miss his bike ride tonight...how am I supposed to go shopping for something *special* for our Mexico trip if he doesn't go on a bike ride?

*Cowboy stadium is MASSIVE inside. While I enjoyed the futbol (soccer) game yesterday, I could do WITHOUT the horns...they sound like a moose mating call! (Glad I had a cowboyrita...for $14)
I'm the bad guy at work because someone forgot to follow the instructions I left for them. Now it's my fault because they had to re-do their work. I love getting blamed for a mistake I didn't make.
The date my mom is planning to come into town for baby's delivery keeps creeping up but she doesn't plan on leaving any earlier. I don't want my mom here any longer than necessary! She will just drive me up the wall and stress me out.
*I was supposed to have an eye doctor appointment this morning, but when I got there, they said my appointment is for Aug. 27th. Um, you told me July. I even have it written down. So, since I don't don't want to have to wait another month (especially since I'm having headaches), I found someplace else that will see me next Tuesday.
*What is with this stupid crap of charging me for contact lense fitting. With my old doctor, I had my exam, ordered my lenses, paid for the appointment and pad for the lenses. Now I have to pay for the exam, a fitting, and the lenses? That's stupid even if my copay is cheap and I get a percentage off plus an allowance for lenses.
*To the eye doctor: you better listen to me and figure out the problem when I tell you can't wear my contact lenses. They make my eyes completely dry out and they just bother me. I didn't push the issue last time, but you can bet I'm going to throw a fit if you just tell me to try them again.
Can you tell where my mind is today?
DH has Monday's off... and in conjunction with this weather... all I really wanted to do today is curl up in my pjs with him and my pugs and watch a movie/nap...i am at work.
even though I haven't been eating as horribly as I used to... I really need to get back on track with the diet/exercise... it would be so much easier if we could eat anything we wanted and stay at our ideal weight
I have some of the most RANDOM, and boy, do I mean random, relatives coming out of the woodwork on FB. I accepted a few b/c I didn't want to be mean, but then i just got two more, and I ignored. I don't want these random 4th cousins on my fb. I have little contact with extended family and imo they are just being nosey. So, I just deleted the other random relatives. I'm sure my dad, who is ubersensitive about hurting his family's feelings, would be annoyed if he knew, but I'm not doing it.

I totally agree about the contact lense fitting fee! That made me so mad the last time I went to the doctor! I've worn contacts for about 12 years now, I'm pretty sure I don't need a "fitting," thanks.
