What disgusting weather! It's so sticky and humid out that I couldn't see out of my car windows until I was 15 minutes into my commute. My hair is not liking this weather either. I think it's supposed to be like this for the next week too. Gross.
I was dead to the world this morning. H was shaking me to wake up and I didn't budge.
A coworker has quickly become a co-irker and I'm trying to avoid said person by hiding out in my cube and communicating via email. It's really weird--it's like a light switch was flicked and the coworker became annoying overnight. Biotching about this and that and dictating this and that--makes me want to throat punch said coworker.
Re: Goodmorning
I'm also dragging today, I passed out on the couch at 8:30 last night and still feel like I haven't slept in days.
I hate the humidity, I love that it's finally hot but I'm all about hot with no humidity b/c this weather just makes me want to stay inside where it's cool.
I'm excited b/c I have my bridal hair trail this morning, my hair has bee the one thing I'm SOO nervous about b/c I've never loved the way my hair was done so I'm hoping I love this.
I'm also going nuts b/c my sister has her 19 week appt on Monday and I can't wait to find out if I'm having a niece or nephew
I'm bouncing around like a nut waiting....I found a little onsie that says "I love my Godmother" on it so I plan on having the new little one parade around in that all the time when he/she gets here
I will!
Do I tip the women doing my trial if it's her own business? I'm going to her house, she's actually a neighbor of my parents
Boo to humidity. Better here than it was in Israel, though!
I wouldn't tip if you're paying $100! You should go somewhere fancy for dinner tonight with your nice hair.
My back is uber sore from yoga last night, but I'm kinda proud since I stood on my head!
NYgirl-- Figured I would throw in my 2 cents!
I would probably tip for the trial, but that is just me. Maybe not the full 20% but more around 10%. I would think that most people give her a little something extra if they like the way it turns out. You want to keep her happy since she is doing your hair for the wedding (want to stay on her good side hehe)!
Is that you, Kristin? Who's MaryJoey??
I wouldn't tip. $100 is alot for a trial and $250+ a day of tip is fine.
I could not agree more, Krista! I feel like it's just so hard to be at work anymore and EVERYONE is annoying the crap out of me. Ditto winning the lottery.
Oh it's soooo gross out. I took Aidan for a walk this morning and was sweaty just getting the stroller out the front door.
I would LOVVVVVVVVE to win the lottery.
Morning! Staci - we started to walk Jack to Mugs, but it was so hot that we decided to take the car. I was afraid to take him for a 2 mile walk in the heat. We're staying in the AC today!
We just spent a couple days in Cape May - much different with the baby. I got to the beach for an hour or so Sunday, but then it rained - of course! H and I did get to go to dinner Sun night, and we went out for a couple drinks Sat night - but my brothers got in a fight and one got arrested, so that was a bit of a downer!
I'm glad to be back home. It was rough staying with his family in a tiny room. everyone wanted to hold the baby constantly and watch him. I didn't go down there to leave my son the whole time!
Haha, sorry that was me!! I was at my mom's on my sister in laws computer...I didn't realize I was signed in under her screen name
