What did everyone end up doing this weekend? Anything fun?

Re: Happy Monday!
How exactly did it get to be Monday already and, who stole my weekend??? LOL! I could have used an extra day or two.
I spent all-day on Saturday at a scrapbooking event with a good friend. It was great to catch up and to finally be creative again. I ended up finishing 4 pages (3 for my pregnancy book, one of our HM). It was a long but, very nice day.
Yesterday, DH and I went to a Yankee game. It was my first time seeing a MLB game live. I'm not a baseball fan but, it was fun to have the experience of being at the stadium during a game. And, the new stadium is just beautiful!

I could have used an extra day also!
Friday- We finally got our a/c fixed!!!! I forgot how nice it is to come home to a nice cool house.
Sat- We started off going to the farmers market, but ended up on the other side of town eating lunch w/friends and shopping
Yesterday- I got up early w.Kelsey then Dh took her to my parents so he could help my dad and I slept from 11-3. It was wonderful!!
I was actually just thinking... "what happened to the weekend. How is it possible that today is Monday and I am back at work."
Anyhow, we had a good weekend. DH's parents have been gone since Thursday so we worked a lot and pretty much lived at the farm this weekend. But, I didn't have to put up with my in-laws for 4 whole days! I will probably be glad to see them and catch up tonight too. It's amazing how having some time away from people makes it much easier to see them again:)
I also think we're getting a great deal on a dock (used, but still nice) from a friend of ours. Our dock spot on the lake is shared with neighbors, but this dock will be nice and long with room for everyone's boats so everyone is agreeable! It will be so nice to have the convenience of taking a 3 minutes walk down to our boat/dock and not having to drive around to the public lake access (which we never have time for so we never seem to do).
I hope everyone's Monday flies by!
P.S. My running is on schedule!! 7.2 miles on Saturday morning. I'm just hoping I can continue to stick with this:)
Good morning lovely ladies! I too must agree, this weekend went by too quickly.
Saturday DH and I took my mom out to lunch then went over to a friends house for a little bit. The ride home was quite eventful as I was hit by a drunk driver. I was stopped at the stop light and he was in the turn lane. He hit me because he was driving in my lane. I didn't think we would be able to catch up to him, but thankfully we did. He denied hitting me, thought I was making the whole thing up and then gave me $500 dollars. I was real tempted to call the cops, and I would have if he had not stopped. Even after he gave me the money he swears he did not hit me and then procedded to tell me when he him me and how (he was wrong, he thought I was hit as he was entering the turn lane which he admitted he didn't have enough room, but entered anyway, and that it was the trailer that him me, not the boat when in fact it was his boat he hit me with). Luckily I got out of that with just a few scuff marks, and scratches that really aren't noticable and a broken side view mirror. DH ordered the mirror today, so we have $480 left.
Sunday we just did our food shopping and spent the day relaxing. And we watched the new Harry Potter movie. I'm a nerd I know, but I love Harry Potter.
Friday night we went to a cocktail party with someone Kevin knows from work. We ended up being the only ones from Kevin's job, and the rest were from the fiance's job and we were the youngest people there by about 20 years, so we escaped pretty early.
Saturday I worked and there was a tornado watch going on when I left and it was POURING so that was sort of excited. But then it calmed down and I drove to my parents house, while Kevin was at his friends house for the night.
Sunday I helped my mom run her Basket Raffle booth at our church's lawn fete (carnival), so I was there from 11am till 11pm. It was a long day but I got a couple free beers at the end of the night and the raffle went smoothly so it ended up good. I ended up staying at my parents again because it was so late.
Today I went out to lunch with my grandma, mom and sister to Olive Garden - yummy! Then I finally drove back to our apartment, and I'm getting ready for work at 4:30. Whew!?
Friday night we were at a buddy's poker game to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation. His daughter has it. Rich ended up making some money in the tournament, while I lost some on the tournament but made some of it back in a cash game later.
Saturday we were down in the Catskills, near Middleburgh, NY visiting a friend of mine who I taught with in NYC. She has a weekend/summer home there. We went to a craft fair, played mini golf and drove go carts, and got a tour of some of her favorite places in the area (including an awesome town called East Durham which is very Irish!.
We wound up chatting around a bon fire in her yard until 1130!
Sunday we went to lunch at a BBQ place and ran some errands, otherwise we did laundry and lazed around the house.
OH and for anyone on my facebook, there is a new pic up from the weekend of my new hair!
Lisa - Yanks won 7-5 :-)
Kel - Holy cow! So glad you are okay...it could have been so much worse.
Jenny - Saw the FB pic this morning, your hair looks great!
