Anyone familiar with Palm Springs?

What is the weather like in September? October?

Re: Anyone familiar with Palm Springs?

  • Its still going to be hot. Hotter in September, still in the hundreds. Probably in the upper nineties in October. My parents live in la quinta. Are you planning a trip?
  • It will still be hot, easily 90s.

  • Hot as a mofo.

We spent Thanksgiving there 2 years ago and it was in the 90s.  =/

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • It will still be really hot.  September is still really hot in the hundreds for sure and October will be low hundreds/high nineties.

  • I just got back from there and it was 113-115* everyday and 100* at 9pm. It will still be in the 90s in Sept, but the nights won't be as hot.
  • Yeah, we are planning a trip. We went in October a few years ago and I don't remember it being too hot. Of course, I also wasn't pregnant. Everything seems magnified when pregnant.

Maybe we'll have to re-think it.

  • I visited my mom several times throughout my pregnancy, it wasn't too bad. If you decide to go, plan (light) activities for early in the morning and in the evening.  I would plan to be indoors in the ac or in the pool during the hottest hours of the day. Drink tons of water, and stay in the shady end of the pool as much as possible!

The ONLY thing on our agenda is pool, spa day for me and lots of gin & tonics for DH =)
