Yeah... I am being productive!!! Heh heh heh! I am doing research by watching all these baby stories and becoming more educated about child birth.  Smile

  • That sounds productive to me.  I am looking up fertility feng shui.  So I should hang up red paper lanterns in my bedroom and put up pictures of elephants with their trunks raised.  I wonder if DH would be down for that?

Ahhh.... what is the significant meaning of the elephants' trunks raised??? Pls don't tell me....Devil

  • hahaha   get your mind out of the gutter!!!  Although I was thinking the same thing!  But actually it is to signify  the elephants announcing a birth of a child.

  • It's the funniest thing. Before I was pg I would watch Baby story and Bringing Home Baby. After I got pg. I couldn't watch them. It freaked me out too much.

I don't think they are necessary to watch. If they are scaring you. Stop. But if you enjoy them...keep on watching. :)

  • When I was pg I watched Birth Day religiously. I would get home from work and watch them on the dvr. There were some pretty scary scenarios, but it made me feel at ease rather than freaked out because I knew what I would have to expect if I experienced those same complications. Knowledge is power! Don't stop watching them! If you know all the terminology, it will be easier for you when you are in labor because it can be overwhelming having all these weird medical terms coming at you at once.
