Speaking of Palm Springs....

We were playing a real estate game on my national board and looking for dream houses in our area under 2.5 mil.  Check out this beauty....

I don't think I would ever go inside the house, the backyard is so bad*ss!

Re: Speaking of Palm Springs....

  • Oh, I love your new house, Kat.  Can we move in? I am sure you won't even know we're there.

  • Come on over!  Party at my house!  Is it just me, or is it surprising that the house is only in the 1 millions?  Maybe it was higher before the market crash?

  • Yes, it is "affordable" now.  LOL! I am sure it was a lot more a few years ago.
  • Wow. That house is pretty amazing. I don't really care for the front of the house, but I'd forgive that for the backyard and that giant kitchen!

Oh the kitchen is amazing!  But you're right the curb appeal is Eh!

  • I agree with the curb appeal and the kitchen is nms. I like it more open with better lighting. This sounds like a pretty fun game. I really wish I had time to search for one right now to show you.

  • I adore this entire tract of Alexander homes...that one is stunning, i love the fire pit IN the pool.   Vista Las Palmas housed many a celebrity back when they were first built in the late 50's.  I think this is where Elvis' honeymoon house is too.

If I ever could afford to buy an Alexander in original condition, Palm Springs is probably the most affordable place to get one.  A house in this kind of condition in other areas would be much much more.

Most of Palm Springs has little to no curb appeal, but most of the home themselves are stunning and have amazing backyards.
