DH has sensitive skin and I was wondering if any of you have a soap that you would recommend. He cannot wear regular deodorants as they cause a reaction and is currently using Toms natural deodorant. We thought that that would do the trick, but now he seems to be sensitive to shower gels as well.
TIA
Re: Soap for sensitive skin
Dove sensitive skin unscented has no perfumes, just pure soap... I used to work in a soap factory and it's true.
Ivory is also pure.
Dove also has an unscented body wash but I have no experience with that.
My DH has really sensitive skin, and dove sensitive soap works for him. Also, all of the products that Rocky Mountain Soap shop (http://www.rockymountainsoap.com/webpage/1002398/1000144) sells are all natural, and DH hasn't had any reactions so far to their products. Haven't tried the body washes though. I don't know where you are, but the farthest East they go is Winnipeg. I think you can shop online though.
His skin gets red and sore in his arm pits. He had to stop using regular deodorant because his skin was peeling. Sorry if tmi.
I'm in Alberta
I have had reactions from a lot of products out there. I would break out in little itchy bumps.
The only deoderant I can use is Dove, but I think they only have products for women. I use Aveeno body wash, body lotion and moisturizer and have never had an issue.

My Chart
Check the percentage of aluminum tetrachorlide in his deodorant. It is the active ingredient (keeps him dry) but some people react to it in high quantities. 22% is usually the highest you can find in a store, and some of them are as low as 16%, if he is using a high percentage one, try buying him a lower percentage one. It might help. My DH reacts to some deodorants, for him it depends on the % and also the brand (must be some other ingredient in there that he reacts to) Good luck to him!.
