I know I'll get some feedback here! I need restaurant rec's for a birthday celebration/ girls night out. Anywhere in LA/ OC. Reasonably priced. Fun atmosphere. Open to all suggestions.
I was thinking of Katsuya at LA Live but my friend said it might be too expensive for everyone. Anyone been to Katsuya (for future reference as I'd still like to try it)? My friend suggested Chomps in Fullerton, but I've been there several times. I want to try something new!

mosun in laguna used to be fun - plus, it looks like you'll get a discount on fridays for being an "oc local."

Katsuya
The original one (in Studio City?) has great food. The one in Hollywood has lesser food quality but great atmosphere + celebrity sighting. You have to try the spicy tuna in crispy rice..Yummy
Geisha House,Hollywood
Great for hang out, decent food, close to clubs etc
Javier, Newport Beach
oh yeah, you can make reservations at javier's. at least you can at the irvine spectrum location.
we went to katsuya at the americana in glendale and the food was okay, but super overpriced and the servers were completely full of themselves and snooty beyond belief.
it's glendale, people. please.
