Hey Everyone--
Does anyone have any great surprise birthday ideas in Dallas? Or just any great ideas in general? I want it to feel like a 30th party--not just a normal party or friend get together. Any help or ideas would be really helpful!!
Re: 30th Surprise Party
My 30th wasn't a surprise but it was a lot of fun. On Friday night we did my family and DH's family party at Grapevine lake. Rented a boat and watched the fireworks (every Fri over Grapevine Lake). On Saturday night DH planned my party for our friends, we went to a Hibachi restaurant in Grapevine that seats 16 around a double grill. It had been awhile since I had been to a Hibachi restaurant so I fell for all the squirt the oil and throw the egg at me jokes. Everyone had a blast.
If you want a girls only party, check out the girls room for a private pole dance class. I'm not sure how that would be a surprise though since she would have to be in workout type clothing??
We also looked into having a party at the Glass Cactus on friday night to watch the fireworks. They have a $50 min pp for private events.
If you have some time, live racing at LoneStar Park starts back up Sept 25. You can rent a suite and have everyone dress up like the KY Derby and wear big hats.
Or have a 70's theme party to honor the 70's baby. All the guests dress like the 70's, blast disco music. Maybe you can get a picture of her parents with her as a baby in full 70's gear to blow up. Have accessories for her to put on when she gets there so she won't feel out of place.
