I'm done with the bar exam!! I can't wait to be a decent wife. I feel so badly that the first 2 months of our marriage have been so stressful due to this stupid exam! And to think that I might do this again in February if we decide to move to Indiana...
Re: Finished!
Congratulations!
I am completely ignorant when it comes to this stuff - is there a certain score you have to achieve? When do you find out the results?
Regardless, you are done! I know that relief - I felt so much better once my master's thesis was defended and handed in! Woot!
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
What did I tell you? Instant relief, right?
You may now commence purging all that info from your brain! Okay, except the multistate stuff, if you may need that again in 7 months.
Re: grading - every state has different requirements to pass, and they're not always clear-cut. A certain number of points on the state's exam plus a certain score on the multistate exam = magic number that you hope is high enough. Whatever the scoring requirements, each state has a pretty standard pass rate they like to maintain, so I have a sneaking suspicion they adjust their grading to match that based upon the difficulty of a given exam. Virginia's average pass rate is 70% of test takers. California's is about 50%. I'd guess Illinois is somewhere in between.
Roses, try to relax while you wait the two to four months for your results! It's tough, but just remember that it's out of your hands and they'll tell you when they tell you, and not a minute sooner.

Congratulations!!
Thanks ladies!! I get my results in October, so I'll report back then
The pass rate in Illinois is about 82% though, so hopefully I'm at least above the bottom 12%!
The pass rate in GA is about 85%, so I kept telling myself "you studied really hard, *surely* you are not in the bottom 15%."
Congrats on finishing! Being done with bar studying is the best feeling in the world!
