Want to help me pick a paint color?

http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/19887103.aspx

Here is my original post on D&R. (pics in the link above)

So some of you know that I have been looking for a oil rubbed bronze light fixture for my formal dining room... well the fixture in the nook area fits the criteria and we would rather spend the money on a light we will use more =)

When we were broken into, there was some damage done to the texture on the kitchen walls, so they have to paint but we want to go with a new color.

Thoughts. Since accent colors are red we are avoiding green (reminds us of christmas) or yellow (mcdonalds)

Robins egg blue is our fav so far... but are second guessing b.c. of the countertops.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated

Re: Want to help me pick a paint color?

  • ooooh i like the robins egg blue! ?i think it would look good!!?

    ?

  • In our master bathroom we have it painted robin's egg blue and the fixtures are all oil rubbed brass. We were hesitant to put such an off the wall color (esp. for DH taste) but when we got everything in there (decoration, fixtures, towels, etc.) it came together really well.

So I say robin's egg blue.
