I'm curious...Do you delete digital pictures right away from the memory stick after uploading to computer, shutterfly, etc? Or do you leave them on the memory for a while?

I'm terrible about deleting them...I usually upload them right away but I'm terrible about taking them off the memory stick for good...LOL.

Once I upload them I delete them, unless I am going to go to target and get pictures printed, but I rarely do that.

Sometimes after I finish uploading my pics, the camera asks if I want to delete them from the memory card. That's pretty much the only time that I remember to do it. For some reason, it doesn't always ask. I wish it would, I need the reminder!

I'm really bad about deleting them once I upload them. I guess it just worries me to delete them forever (even though I know I have a copy on my computer). I usually end up going through and deleting some when I need space for more.

I download them to my computer, then back them up either on another computer or directly to the external, then I delete. I like to keep the cards clean for the most part and I usually do all of this at the same time to make sure I don't lose anything.

I usually delete them from the card when I load them onto the computer. I have all of our pictures on an external hard drive so I have duplicate copies of the files (on the laptop and the external).?

I very rarely delete all the pics from the memory card after uploading to my computer. I usually carry my camera with me and like to be able to show pics to people if I want to. I generally just delete them as I need to, or if I know it'll be a heavy picture-taking day/event, then I'll delete the whole card.

Dh is the one that takes care of it. He usually deletes them from the memory right away unless we are doing other things with them such as uploading them to be printed or taking the pictures to my mom's for her to either just see or to put on her computer. I"d really wish he'd put them on a cd or something too, as a backup.

If I remember to, then I delete them after I upload them and make sure they are OK on the computer.

We leave them there. We just got a bigger card, and DH transferred the files from the old card to the new one!

I never get them printed out, either.

I have trouble deleting them even though they are on Shutterfly and our hard drive. I need to purge before our next vacation!

The photos get deleted from the card as they are transferred from there they go to 2 different hard drives and shutterfly.
