emotional pregnancy

I am 18 months pregnant and my emotions sometimes goes through the roof. Before I found out I was pregnant, I moved from my baby's father to handle some unfinished business, now I'm always crying because I miss him so much and he and I are scared that this will affect the baby or pregnancy so what I'm asking is can it really happen or this is part of the pregnancy?

You're eight months pregnant and crying a lot due to a stressfull situation...?  Yeah I'd say that's normal.  To an extent of course.  I have gone thru phases during my pregnancy - mostly I'm fine, but there are some bad days - sometimes you just can't help it.  If you're truely worried about it affecting you or the baby (especially after the birth with the risk of post-partum depression), please consult your doctor.

    I agree!!

  • I would definitely talk with your doctor. I know towards the end of my pregnancy, i was very tired. That can definitely contribute to being emotional. After Grace was born, I cried every day for the first few days. Your body is on a serious hormonal roller coaster, not to mention I was not used to surviving on such little sleep. Hang in there, and hopefully things will get better!
