HI Everyone!
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing?! My DH and I just booked our flights to come out to hopefully finalize housing issues and pick out a home we want to put an offer on! If we don't find anything, we will most likely find a place to rent for a while. I'd rather buy. But I want to LOVE the place not just settle.
How is everyone doing? Anything exciting going on in NM right now? I actually miss it! My start date can't come fast enough. If it wasn't for money and my current lease in my apartment I'd be out there sooner! Maybe I'll hit the lottery between now and then! Haha.

Everything is going well here in Eastern N.M. I have one week left of vacation before school starts again, but I'm ready.
Hopefully you and DH find something you like!

I've been on vacation for 2 weeks and am heased home now. I so miss ABQ - it is definitely home now.
I know the ABQ/Berco Water Authority is actually still hiring and is not under a hiring freeze. What does YH do?
His degree is in communications, post production and editing. He owns his own video business on the side, which ends up being more of hobby than an income. I think ideally he would like to get a job at a tv station.
But he has tons of managerial (sp?) experience in retail. Mostly high end stuff. And some office experience as well.
I fear that if he doesn't get a job he will have to go back to school. Keep your ears open for us please!
I know HP is hiring for their new call center - tech support and trainers.
If your DH wants to go into video production, there are lots of below-the-line movie jobs here these days. Although I think you probably have to be union.
I would suggest he look into the Digital Arts COnferences at UNM COntinuing Ed. They have one in spring and one in fall - good place to network for anyone interested in digital arts, media, video editing, etc. If he uses Adobe products, there is a VERY active Adobe User group here.
