How is everyone on this Monday morning?
I'm eh, not looking forward to the hot temps that are coming. I like not having to run the ac.
Oh, and our neighbors put their house up for sale. This means 1 of 2 things. It is not the nicest house ever and they are asking 179K for it. Either someone looking to tear it down and build new will buy it or someone who is looking for a cheap house and not care about what it looks like will buy it.
I'm hoping the first option because that way, they will cut down all the wild trees that are growing along the back fence (seriously, the trees planted on their own over the years and it looks horrible. DH has even offered to cut it down for him, no luck.) We're afraid the roots are going to start messing up our fence. And then since their garage is right on the property line, if they build new, the house has to be 6 feet off. So that means not having to look right at a garage outside the dining room window.
However, considering the market, I'm thinking that many builders are not looking for new land since their current new houses aren't selling. 2 years ago when we built our, his house would have been snatched up.
Re: Good Morning
Good morning! Ditto on the hot temps. It's been really hot and really humid for over a week now. It's hopefully supposed to break on Thursday but it's been awful. I am really sore from a class I took at the gym on Saturday and my office manager is coming back today and she is such a micro manager I am dreading her coming back, plus it's Monday so I am having a rough day already lol.
Weekend was good though, too short as always but good.
Hopefully whoever buys it will at least put some work into it and raise the value of the house and inturn raise the value of your house.
I had a decent weekend. I didn't do much of anything. We saw Ugly Truth Saturday evening. It was pretty good. Went swimming at my parents yesterday. Had my little brother over all weekend. I am super busy today. For the next 2 weeks actually. I have one rental property I've got to get turned over this week and another next week. They both have a lot of work to be done. It's going to be close! Then I have 2 more that need to get done by the end of the month but there isn't much to do to those except paint so I can do both of those in one week. I woke up at 5 this morning stressing on how I was going to get all this done and do my day to day work as well. AHHHHH!!!!!!
Morning! I'm doing surprisingly well. The weekend feels like it was really long (in a good way - I seem to have forgotten about work almost entirely! LOL) but of course, Monday comes around too quickly regardless of how good a weekend is! LOL
We saw the Ugly Truth as well and Greg actually thinks it's the funniest we've seen this year. I really liked it.
Already???? No! Where will Declan be spending his days?
I know! Can you believe he'll be 8 weeks old on Sat? He'll be going to daycare 2 days a week, I'll work from home 2 days a week, MH will be home 1 day every other week, and my mom will watch him one day on the opposite weeks. Hopefully it'll work out!
Morning.
We are all moved in which is awesome but now the unpacking begins. Unpacking = not so awesome.
I can't believe it's already been that long! I know this will sound horrible but having the C-section allowed you two extra weeks off, at least you didn't have to go back in 6 weeks.
I hope the schedule works out for you guys. Working for home is pretty easy when he's this little. It's when he is running around and spilling nail polish on the floor is when it gets to be fun juggling the two. Hopefully your office won't mind if you don't work a solid 8 hours straight and can make up time during the evening if need be.
Wow..time has flew! I can't believe it's been 8 weeks already!
Believe me I'm almost happy I had the c-section so I got the extra 2 weeks off. Not that the surgery was fun but since I had an easy recovery it didn't make it that bad.
Luckily my work isn't too busy since they're in the process of trying to shut down my department so even when I'm in the office I don't have enough work for the day. So I just hope Declan cooperates and I'm able to get some things done at home. But once he starts to get mobile I'll be hiding all my nail polish
Morning. Wow i cannot believe its been 8 weeks Kristin! I hope your schedule works out for you. Im sure declan loves being w/his mommy.
Im kind of bummed this morning since nick left yesterday morning. Hes been on a zillion business trips before and ive been fine but this one is different for sure. Im working from home this week and hopefully hear something about my test results today.
Morning.....nothing too exciting this weekend...as i am not allowed to do as much as i would like. All my friends went to the fair..i didn't go, too much walking involved....but it was nice to spend it with my hubby! :-) we just laid low and did really nothing. I did manage to put the girls' bedding on the bed! :-) and today i think i am gonna run to target and get a piece of furniture that i liked.. :-) but we will see :-) otherwise, it is pretty much another boring week ahead, i do have a doc appt this week and sat is my next baby shower! so i am looking forward to that! :-)
Kristin..hope it all goes well with the transition!
Stacy...let us know what they tell you when you know! :-)
