How about that rain Friday and yesterday? Crazy! My office flooded out on Friday and I'm sure it got some more yesterday. Thank God my computer didn't get wet!
Of course, H and I were running errands right in the middle of the storm. BJ's was packed with people waiting to get to their cars in the lobby area and they were blocking the entrance so people couldn't get in--idiots. Yes, I'm just standing out here in the rain because I like it. Move!
Saturday we went to see our friends' baby--so freaking cute. She fell asleep in my arms and then tried to nurse on me. H was afraid to hold the baby because she's only 2 weeks and can't control her head yet. The hat that I made her fit perfectly, but I didn't take any pics.
Yesterday I finished a book and did nothing. It was amazing and I wish I could be doing that again today.

It's freakin' August?! Seriously... where has this summer gone?
My weekend was okay... but like every Sunday night for the past few months, I haven't been able to sleep. I think I got 4 hours at the most last night. I'm exhausted...
My weekend was good but way to fast....Friday we stayed in and had pizza b/c we were exhausted and it was raining....then Saturday we hung around the pool and then went out to dinner at Tre Famiglia in Haddonfield and it was SOO good. Sunday it took us forever to get going, I was so tired and didn't want to budge but we ended up just going to Sam's club and then to dinner at my in laws.

This weekend went by way to fast... Friday the storms were horrible and we had trees down all around our house. Saturday we helped my dad in voorhees cleanup his yard (they had major damage from the storm on Friday night).. and then yesterday we had another storm roll through but this time we had water come through our roof that is not even a year old and damage the drywall in the upstairs hallway and the master bathroom. I am soo frustrated right now! My H and I just had our house built this past November and I am really aggravated that we are having to deal with all these issues! I will be calling the builder today to have them come out and fix everything since the house is still under warranty (thank goodness!)
Sorry for the vent.. I am just frustrated with everything at the moment.
It was a nice weekend for us and I'm sad it's over already.
Friday I cleaned the house and BIL/SIL came up late with our niece. Got to experience the whole cry it out thing, which was tough, but good to experience.
Saturday I had a bridal shower and then hung out with my girlfriends. It was much needed and I got to hold my friend's 6-week old baby. SO cute.
Sunday was a lazy day, but we managed to get our powder room painted. I have to touch up some spots tonight. It's a pretty bright green, but I like it and hope once we have curtains and decorations up that it will tone it down just enough.
