Happy Monday!

Ooo I never do a morning post. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Anything exciting?

Re: Happy Monday!

  • I should answer that huh? We had a really, really fun weekend. Friday we just hung out. Saturday we had my nephews' b-day party and then A and I headed to Irvine for the No Doubt concert. We had dinner at the Spectrum before the show and stayed the night out there. It was our 1st night away from L - I did much better than I expected! The concert was amazing. I <3 them SO much!! It was my 5th time seeing them and may have been the second best.

Sunday we just picked up L, went to Target, and laid low at home.

  • Glad you had a nice little getaway Becki!

Morning! We took E to the circus on Friday, it was SO much fun! Saturday we went to Pierce's birthday party Big Smile, then I went to my mom's for a BBQ.

Yesterday I had a newborn session in the morning (looooved this little girl!), then came home and worked.

  • Good morning!  We had a busy and fun weekend. Friday morning, we flew up to Reno to see my parents.  Friday night, we met up with a bunch of friends at a great Basque restaurant i downtown Reno.  The food was so good!  Sarah even ate it!  She had steak, salad (even at raw onions!), mussels and clam chowder!  Afterwards, the girls left the kids with the guys and headed to the Chocolate Bar for drinks and dessert.  95% of the menu is chocolate...I had a cupcake sampler (bite sized cupcakes topped with ice ceram) and their signature chocolate drink which tasted just like chocolate milk.  Saturday was spent hanging out with our friends then that night was my dad's 70th birthday celebration.  1 year ago (a couple of days before his birthday) he was diagnosed with cancer...it's been quite a year!  We had a lot to celebrate!  Yesterday we spent the morning with our friends and family then flew home.  Sarah crashed while taking off in Reno, slept through the plane change in Vegas and finally woke up when we landed in Ontario.  Guess she was a little tired!

    Have a busy week ahead...unfortunately.

Hope everyone has a great day!

  • Morning.....nothing too exciting this weekend...as i am not allowed to do as much as i would like.  All my friends went to the fair..i didn't go, too much walking involved....but it was nice to spend it with my hubby!  :-)  we just laid low and did really nothing.  I did manage to put the girls' bedding on the bed! :-)  and today i think i am gonna run to target and get a piece of furniture that i liked.. :-)  but we will see :-)   otherwise, it is pretty much another boring week ahead, i do have a doc appt this week and sat is my next baby shower!  so i am looking forward to that!

  • Hey girls! It's been awhile since I have posted. Work has been crazy and I have been doing overtime so I haven't been able to get on.

Our weekend was good other than Dh's grandma is in the hospital. She is not doing well. Then Dh is supposed to fly out to Iowa on Wednesday to do some film work for several days. I am already feeling overwelmed. :(

  • Good morning! Nothing too exciting this weekend. I baked some cupcakes yesterday to practice a new recipe I am entering in a contest at the LA Country Fair. Today I am going to make some different filling and frosting combos and decide which one is the winner. :)

I am going to start a 7-day trial of Bikram yoga tomorrow. I have never done hot yoga, but I do go to regular yoga classes at the gym occassionaly, so I am nervous. :)

I have less than a month of summer vacay left before I go back to work. :(

  • Lori-That chocolate place sounds  so good.

Beck-Congrats on the morning post.  Glad you had a great time.

    Amy-Happy Birthday to Pierce!

This weekend was not very exciting. Saturday dh went to help me put up my classroom for the substitute while my parents watched the baby.  My mom even gave us extra time to go out to eat by ourselves so we stopped off at our favorite Thai place.

On Sunday my mil and sil came over.  It was sil's first time seeing the baby.  The only bad things about the day were that  they asked if they could come at the last minute so we spent up till the last minute cleaning and picking up, they came much earlier then the time we agreed on ( I was still in pajamas and the baby had just had a bath), and instead of picking up food and bringing it back to eat as originally planned, mil assumed it would be okay to use my kitchen to make the lunch.  She arrived with bags of unmade food. It would have been nice to know about that ahead of time.   I'm still a little Angry.  Other then that the weekend was okay.

  • Saturday H went golfing with my dad and BIL, and my sis and me hung out with my mom going through boxes of our old childhood toys and memories- paperwork, awards, etc... It was a lot of fun- now I just have to figure out where to store the stuff, lol!

Sunday H and me went to church then Michaels and Costco. We spent the rest of the evening installing our whole house fan... took a little more time than anticipated- so we're going to finish installing tonight, lol.

Today I'm going to play with some recipes for Thursday- hopefully I'll figure out what I'm serving after experimenting :)

    Have a wonderful day!

  • Afternoon. my weekend was ok. Fri-We had Isabel's followup and the dr said everything looked really good so that was a huge relief. Than we got our new fridge. Yey!

Sat-While I worked OT my parents came and picked up the kids to take them to the family reunion. Afterwork I hung some curtain rods and cleaned up. DH went grocery shopping and than he came home and we had the biggest fight we had ever had. Things still aren't resolved but we are working on it.

Sun-I had to go to urgent care-turns out I have a sinus and ear infection, which have travel to my throat. I went to Wal mart to get my prescription and do some shopping, except they are in the middle of a huge remodel so I spent so much time just trying to find where things were.

The rest of the day was just hanging out at home and than taking the kids for a walk. And Isabel riding her new bike.

  • I spent Saturday night in the hospital, that was pretty exciting. Not.

On the bright side the doc was shocked I wasn't on Zofran and wrote me a prescription.

The one in murrieta is going through a big transformation too- they're making it into a super wal mart rumor has it.
