Party Invite Help
After our Fiesta in May, everyone was eager for us to have another party, so we decided to at the end of August. Unfortunately, I still haven't sent anything out (and word of mouth doesn't work: people, even with paper invite in hand, will FORGET the date and ask us a dozen times when it is. LOL)
I need help phrasing it. Since it's August 29th, it feels sad to say it's an end of summer party... Help! Since we have no theme like Fiesta, I'm not sure what do do altogether.

For a sort of theme, what about just doing an old fashioned bbq...
burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, some potatoe salad (I can recommend an amazing one I made this past weekend), beer...for colors think sort of along the lines of a 4th of july party without being patriotic.
This is cute for invite wording, maybe you can edit some of it to shorten it...
Summer came and went before we knew
And now it?s time to say adieu
To lazy days lounging in the shade
And sand and popsicles and cold lemonade
But we still have some time to play in sun,
So come join us for one last bit of summer fun!
