Headache ? Go Away!

I?ve had a pounding headache [forehead and back of neck] since Sunday around 4pm ? I tried sleeping it off, taking hot or cold showers, cold compress, relaxing in the dark ? nothing. I?m starting to run out of ideas. heard that it?s ok to take Tylenol but I?d want to do what ever I can not to first.

Do you have any remedies?

I hope it goes away by tomorrow because it?s my company?s ?family picnic? at Playdium. 60+  screaming kids + buzzing and bells from the games = not a good mix! LOL I?m also bringing my 4 yr old cousin with me..crazy Lisa, huh?!

Honestly, take the tylenol.  It's perfectly safe and your head will thank you.  I find that tylenol alone doesn't help, but if I take it with caffiene (tea or coke usually) it actually helps.

Oh and I usually take 1 extra strength, which is equal to 2 regular strength.  I was hesitant to take the tylenol or drink caffiene too, but then my headaches were coming probably 4 days a week and it was just too painful.

    Hope it helps

  • Tylenol is fine. Not Advil.

  • If you really want to avoid Tylenol at all costs, massage or accupuncture could help.

    Ditto

    Perfectly safe;-)

  • I agree with pp - massage or acupuncture, but Tylenol is perfectly fine to take. I have been taking it when needed through my whole pg.
  • in that case THANK YOU! I'm going to take some now...it's hurting so much.

I would "blame it on the rain" [yeah - yeah] LOL today but then it doesn't explain why I've had it for 3 days!

    Big Smile Thanks
