Rec. a restaurant for my 1st anniversary
Our anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks and I'd like to make a reservation for dinner. Someplace nice and romantic, preferably steak, seafood, American or Italian. I'd love to surprise DH with dinner and a night in the city. Please help! We've never been out in Philly and I'm clueless! Thanks, girls!

Sorry I'm not too familiar with restaurants in Philly but I use the Open Table website to make reservations a lot and we've found a few new places to try through there. It breaks it down by food type, neighborhood, and price.

There are alot of nice places in the theater district too.
We went to James for my bday this year. It's in the Bella Vista area. They have a website - just google it. It's AMAZING!
I also love McCormick & Schmick's, Ruth's Chris, and Waterworks.
Amada is a tapas place in old city. I've never been there but tapas is fun and you could roam around old city afterwards.
Devans is a seafood place in Rittenhouse square. We went there for New Years, great place.
Amada is my favorite restaurant in Philly. For steak I'd check out Capital Grille or Delfrisco's. I also love Buddakan - which is like Asian fusion. Italian - I know there are some good ones in South Philly that I haven't been to. I have a couple on my list to try:L'Angelo Ristorante Italiano at 1415 W Porter, and Dante & Luigi at 762 S 10th St.
