Anyone read the Time Traveller's Wife?
My mom just leant it to me and I'm going to start reading it.
Any opinions?
Re: Anyone read the Time Traveller's Wife?
It is one of my all-time favourite books, I loved it soooo much!
LOVED IT!!
It really takes a while until you start understanding what's going on, but once you get it you don't want to put the book down! I think it was only when I got 100pgs or so into it.
I can't wait to go see the movie - I hope I'm not too disappointed
Usually the book is always better than the movie.
I'm glad that others found it hard to get into at first. All the back and forth is a bit confusing. I'm excited to keep reading it now.
I saw the commercials for the movie and it looked so romantic I had to read the book. I like romance books, but not those creepy Fabio on the cover romance books!
I loved it too! Although I like a lot of the pp had a really hard time getting in to it. My sister recommended it, and I remember calling her and saying "really??? it's that good???" to which she'd gush about Henry and Claire and tel me to keep reading.
Anyway, I loved it too! Can't wait to see the movie. Although I think they gave away to much in the commercials (hello Alba's in them!)
I read the book years ago when it first came out. It remains one of my favourite books of all time.
It is a little hard to get into because of the constant shifting of stories, and time frames, but it is really worth it in the end.
I'm totally undecided whether to reread it before the movie comes out. I'm thinking I might ruin the book if I have all the details fresh in my mind from the book, since the movie is never as good.
