I hate some of my clients, seriously, dislike working with them. Well not the owner, just their f'ing accountant. I send a list of questions and he tells me that they have already been discussed with the auditors, check their workpapers. I already did ass wipe and they don't make a bit of sense. What matters for the auditors is not the same matter for the tax department. Excuse me if I'm questioning why one balance sheet account increased from 400k to 3.2 million (an account that can have a significant tax effect). Also, the damn distribution worksheet doesn't f'ing tie. You blow your s-election fine by me. Not my fault you can't f'ing figure out that one hunderth of a percent matters when you are dealing with figures close to 20 million.
This isn't the first time I've had problems with him. I serioiusly think he doesn't like women. I tried to get off this account, my superiors tried to get me off but it didn't work. F'ing BULL_SHIT!
(I do realize that this doesn't make sense to 99% of you but it still feels good to get it out to someone that can't get me fired)

There is this guy at work that really is such an ass kisser, it's not even funny anymore. He took on this new position and we all know the only reason he did it was to look good infront of everyone. I have years of experience over him and he is working on a project for me. He is talking to me like I'm 5 years old and he is the supervisor and I'm the preparer. Nope m-f'er. I knocked him down a few pegs when I told him his reconcilation didn't tie and this is how it's supposed to be done. I really wish I could CP some of his e-mails but they are too client specific. Ughhh, I just want to kick him in the head and tell him to stop trying to impress me with his awesome technolical skills. I could care less. Get me a solid return and don't spend a much of needless time trying new things out.
Thanks for the vents.
Re: I need to vent now
Uggghhhh! I *HATE* both those situations. We'd send out PBC lists for clients and they'd say "check the tax files, I know we gave that to the tax dept last year." Um, sure jerk...that was LAST YEAR. I'd try and get the tax PBCs before sending out my own and 90% of the time, they'd just ignore the tax stuff until we're all beating on their door. And at that point, it's somehow the auditor's fault.
I've had girls like the guy you mentioned at both firms. They were horrible (and one of them was a non-stop gum popper so it was even worse to be around her). The girl at the first firm was promoted just b/c of her ass kissing and I wouldn't be surprised if the second girl just got promoted this month b/c of hers...and she had 2 yrs less experience than me.

I can't always blame the client because they don't always understand the differences between the tax and audit functions. However, I just hate the attitude that gets thrown out from him.
At least you understood my vent ;o)
