Is anyone planning on doing a trip for their 1 year? If so, do you know where yet?
With DH gone, I'm bored so I was looking into different options as we do want to take a trip for our 1 year. One of our reasons for waiting to have kids is so we can travel. We really liked the adventure/activity part of our honeymoon so we're looking for something similar. I'm thinking maybe southwest Florida.

Re: Annivesary Trip?
I would like to go somewhere, but we don't really have anything planned yet. We didn't go on a HM, so we're hoping to go on a trip soon as a postponed HM....we're thinking maybe an Alaskan cruise (we've heard they're awesome), but not sure yet.
dh and i are going back to jamaica where we got engaged. our trip is three fold.
1-the place we went to for our honeymoon was horrid
2- we are waiting until our one year TTC
3- my parents 20yr is the following month so we are also sending them there as well..
i loved couples ocho rios (now known as tower isle) it was the perfect place for him to propose and so it seems fitting we go there for our anniversary.
We are tentatively planning one as of right now.
My sister and her bf are planning on getting engaged around Christmas and if that happens they are thinking early fall destination wedding. If this happens (which I hope it does) then that will be our major vacation for next year.
Perk is that I think I have talked her into getting married where we had our honeymoon!! We loved it : )
We don't have anything planned, but I'd like to spend a week or long weekend at the beach where we got married. It's only 4.5 hours from here so we actually go down there several times a year with friends, but it'd be nice to go just the two of us (maybe start working on the 3 of us by then!
)
DH and I would LOVE to take an Alaskan cruise. Do it if you can!
We don't have anything planned as of right now, but like pp said, we'd like to do some travelling before we have kids. We're planning to have kids within the next 2-3 years.
We haven't really thought about it. I'd love love love to go back to the cabins that we stayed at during our HM, but they don't take reservations that far in advance. So we have untill January to decide if we want to, haha.
I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise, I'd deff do it!! My Dad went up there to fish and the pictures and videos he brought home were beautiful!

Do you mind if I ask what cruise lines and where are you finding the deals? My parents are thinking about doing that for their 25th.

We talked about doing this - probably going to Mexico if we do decide to go ahead with it as we were going to go there for the HM, but ended up rebooking to Aruba instead because of all the stuff going on there in May.
It'll all depend on if we're prego by that time or not though. Guess we'll see what happens this fall/winter before we know for sure!!
Disney is wonderful at any age(I'm 34 and h is 30), if you let it be. That's where we are going on our HM and we can't wait. There is so much more than theme parks there--really not just for kids.

Yea I have never been before and H has been only once. I have never flown, been on a cruise, or been to Disney lol.... Out of all three he promises to take me to Disney one day. We had first thought about going there for HM but didnt really have the money, we were going to stay on site. And we will be driving when we do go. He is terrified of planes he has flown before but for some reason says we are not flying so it will take us 12 hours to get there.
I'm not sure where you are, but we are driving from PA. We're stopping in St. Augustine on the way, which we're both excited about as well. The great thing about Disney(always stay on property) is that it can be very affordable--we have the free dining plan, but even without it you can put down a deposit, make small payments along the way and only have to pay 45 days before you go. My mom has already started saving for our Xmas 2010 trip.
