We have a res at Nana but I'm not sure whether we're going to keep it.

  • We are planning to go with 3 different groups and we told them to choose.

Our friends chose Dallas Fish Market.

    FIL chose Eddie V's.

Don't know what DH's aunt decided on.  Hopefully something other than seafood, lol.

  • I heard Stephan Pyle is good for rest. week and I didn't like Nana's on a regular night.
  • We are going to:

    1. Capital Grille (we love it there)

    2. Perry's (I've heard great things...I hope it lives up to it)

    3. McCormick and Smick ( DH's new place to try)

  • Figure I'll post to represent FW--we're eating at the Vault and Ellerbe's. ?No Dallas trips this year.

?Carla--we went to Nana two years ago for RW and loved it. ?One of our all-time best RW experiences.

  • Thanks :)

I've eaten at Nana and like it, but after they posted their menu I started second guessing. DH is a picky eater, but he's been SO willing to try to new things lately. (Best meal of our lives in NYC at Daniel, and he tried everything!)  But usually at french restaurants I try to make sure there is at least one the courses that I know he'll love (a steak or a shortrib or something), and most of what's posted for Nana isn't his style.

We're tempted to go to Cacharel, but it's the fancy place we ALWAYS go for special occasions and I feel like RW should be to try something new!

  • We are going to Ruth's Chris in FW, then to hang out at the Scat Lounge or the bar at Vault afterwards. Carla, we went to Cacheral for RW many years ago and did not like it, but we had our wedding reception there and the food was great! I think maybe they had an "off" night.

We are not going to Dallas this year, but for those who are, I highly recommend Nick and Sams, it is awesome!

  • I want to make reservations as a surprise for my hubby, but I can't decide where.  I think it's between Al Biernats, Perry's, Pappas Bros, and Chamberlain's.

We've done RW at Abacus and Nana in the past, so I want something new.  And we've already been to III Forks a couple of times.

     Hmm... decisions decisions!

  • OOoooh so excited for Restaurant Week!  We just got a gift certificate to Chamberlains, so that's a must.
