i'm, uh, looking for parking for staples center tomorrow and saturday night. i just got an e-mail that offered prepaid parking, but hot damn - $20.
is that my best bet for close, safe parking, or do you have recs? it'll be me, the teen, and BFF and i don't want to be walking around at 11:00 downtown (although i'm sure we won't be alone).

Re: weemz, you here?
I actually don't have big problem walking downtown post-event at 11 p.m. these days. It's pretty safe. For close parking, your $20 ticket is probably the best you can do.
Most of our friends just park on the street -- it's free after 8 p.m., and, even if you get there before 8 p.m., you certainly won't pay $20 to the meter.
Alternatively, you can park in my underground parking space and walk from there since I'll be in San Diego. If you want to go this route, let me know. I'll just leave your name with security. It's a farther walk if you're concerned about safety, but we do it all the time, and it's free.
seems like $20 is the average.
i'm totally torn here. i love the ease and convenience of the lot across from the venue, but free is a big draw...
