Yes, everything went pretty well, although they had our address wrong on all the paperwork that we signed. We have a corner lot so we could have been on either street, but we chose the side entry garage so they put us on the street name we didn't like and didn't let anyone know. They can easily fix that though.
The check thing is interesting b/c the guy at Erlanger verified my funds then the next day I went to actually get the check Downtown and they said they couldn't verify funds b/c my bank had been sold to Huntington and that my account number was no valid. WTH? I've been depositing money on the website with that account number for quite some time with no problems. I don't know what they were talking about, but in the end it worked out. They called the guy at Erlanger to make sure he had verified so we were good. Not sure why they couldn't, but he could. He was kind of shady and said, "you guys don't really look like criminals to me." Not even kidding, that's what he said.
So while we're on vacation next week our builder will be getting permits and hopefully will start digging, yay!
