i reserve the right to DD this later, just because.
so we have a crazy weekend coming up, and the venues won't allow me to take my DSLR. okay, fine. i want to be able to take video clips anyway.
but my old point-and-shoot is a POS. it's awful. one of the buttons gets stuck, it's slow as all hell, and as hard as i try, i can never get decent pics out of the damn thing. and yet i really can't justify/afford to buy a new one right now.
so i'm contemplating buying one, using it for the weekend, uploading the pics/video clips, packing it back up into the box, and then taking it back.
that's really bad, right? [cringing]
Re: flammable potential confession
Do you want to borrow my camera? I can leave it with the security guard.
What if you ended up really liking the one you buy and not returning it? I've seen that happen to a few people. I mean, there's always a chance that could happen.
i'm not gonna lie, i'm actually hoping that the hub will let me keep it - if i do this.
Then it sounds like you're not really planning on returning it, so no big deal.
See? You're not totally immoral.
this is also something i'm heavily considering. i appreciate the offer!
i can't even find yours anywhere anymore - at least not online. i guess i need to get my ass out into the stores and look. i like your shade of pink. muahahahahaha! i am SO lame.
This reminds me of something my mother did when I was in 8th grade. I was a wizard in a play at school and was suppposed to create a wizard costume. My mom bought a really nice robe at nordy's, safety pinned on my collars and then returned it after the show.
Just make sure whereever you return it, it has the same return policies at Nordys. They dont ask questions.......hehe.
Mine is antiquated now. There is a new version.
However, if I were to buy a new p&s, I would get something else. Let me go hunt.
eeeeeeexcellent. preferably <$200, if possible, and definitely with video capability, please.
I would get this one. I *think* it is the one that ihearttim has. It doesn't come in pink, but there is red. It not only shoots video -- it shoots HD video.
However, it is $225ish.
Alternatively, there is the updated version of my camera. It is $180. Video is not HD.
for the money, i was debating the flip HD - it's just under $200 at costco and also takes still photos, but i've read some not-so-great reviews of it.
i'm heading to best buy in a little while. thanks, dude.
