Introducing.......

Grace Elisabeth! Grace was born a few weeks early on July 30th. After having a super easy pregnancy, things kind of fell apart at the end when they realized that my amniotic fluid was low. I was sent to the hospital for a non-stress test, and they decided to admit me and induce labor the next day. I was a mess b/c she was 3 weeks early, I was supposed to start back to work the next day, and the nursery wasn't completely decorated. They started the induction about 7AM Thursday morning. I started having contractions, but eventually around 6 PM, they realized she was not progressing down the birth canal, so they decided to do an emergency c-section. Grace was born at 6:40PM and weighed 6lbs and was 19". There were some initial concerns about her heart b/c she had a heart murmer. However, after a few days, my strong little girl's heart had completely healed itself! I've attached a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. I happen to think she's pretty darn cute, but I may be a bit biased!!image
