Did you use a nursing cover or just a blanket, etc.
I am thinking of making nursing covers for my SILs and wanted some feedback.
Re: Moms who BF
Not trying to get flamed?.
As someone who?s not very comfortable with the whole BFing ? I [as an outsider] would appreciate a little ?privacy? between mom & baby. It?s not something I personally want to see, I mean if I see it ?Oh Well? but not by my choice.
So I think it's a nice idea...
Sometimes I use a cover, sometimes I don't..if I'm at home and someone is over at my house I just try to be as discreet as possible..but really if they get a look at my boob/nipple while I'm trying to feed my child..they can just deal..but I do try to be polite when I can because I know it makes people feel uncomfortable.
I like the cover thing I have because it has a strap that goes around your neck so it wouldn't fall down..
I have a Hooter Hider, it's a nursing cover, but the front is bowed out so that you can see down in to the cover even if both of your hands are busy. I love love love it. Blankets and regular nursing covers just didn't work in the beginning because I needed my hands free to position and latch her and I couldn't do what if I couldn't see what I was doing. Now its great because she doesn't get super hot under it because it lets air in.

this 100%
If I were to use a cover, I'd try the one Katie mentioned with the rigid part at the top. Dani HATES having something over her face. I've just learned to be super discreet with my clothing or positioning of my hands/breasts, like Rach said.
