Horrible nightmare

I can't believe I didn't tell P about it.

I woke up this morning from a horrible nightmare. Sounds kind of funny now though.

I dreamt that we were out shopping or on some type of errand. I looked at the clock, it was 7pm & we still hadn't picked C up from daycare. We rushed to daycare & the mgr said they tried to call us & since we didn't show up or answer they called CPS. I started panicking & hyperventilating. It was a horrible, horrible nightmare. :(

Anybody have nightmares they want to share? I'm bored & nosey.

Re: Horrible nightmare

  • OMG. I would have probably woken up crying.
  • oh my god that's a horrible nightmare. mine isn't really a nightmare but still scared me. Usually Joaquin wakes up every night around 1-2. All I have to do is bring him into bed and he goes right to sleep. So I wake up this morning around 3:30 and see that he is not there so i panic and leap onto DH to check in the bassinet. Where J is peacefully asleep. Poor DH, being woken up by his crazy wife jumping on him.
  • I had one last night too. It was after the earthquake. I dreamed that A and I were sleeping at my parents' house and there was an earthquake and air raid sirens and lights flashing everywhere so we started running all over the neighborhood.

Now my fear is that "the big one" will hit while we're at work and I won't be able to get to L.

  • I havent had any lately but when we first got Dunkin, I use to wake up convinced that H was sleeping on him and squished him to death. It happened a few times to the point when I'd start shaking H to wake up he'd just mumble "he's not under me"...no really sure how those dreams came about...
  • Usually my nightmares have to do with me dying... luckily none of those in the past couple of months- but last time I got shot through the heart then felt myself get cold like I was dying... not so fun and pretty freaky :(

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
