have you guys seen this? $19 for rancho bernardo inn, SD

if you let them strip everything out of the room - including the bed.  i can't stop laughing - and yet, i'm dying to do it.  hey, that's cheaper than a campsite, and in a resort!

  • Considering the ability to drive to the location, I would probably bring my own sleeping bag to place on top of the bed :) That's almost half off the original price!
  • wtf?  i'd much prefer that to camping, though.  i'd just bring my own linens, sleeping bag, and flashlight.  or go out at night and just come back to sleep.  ha.
  • no way in hell, especially not in rancho bernardo.

  • um, what exactly is there to do in rancho bernardo?  and what month?  do it now with no a/c and I guarantee you will be miserable.

  • I guess you could go to the wild animal park?

  • well, it IS a full-on resort.  there's bound to be pools and a spa and stuff to do on the property itself, too.

  • there's a casino kind of nearby that sucks. ;).  i did go to a house party there once, but that doesn't help you.  i remember it feeling like rancho cucamonga--very suburban/BFE, new construction, hilly.

hmmm...I think I'd rather just go to the beach for the day.

  • RB is an older crowd.  Think Golden Girls.  But the Inn is supposed to be very nice!

  • This doesn't sound all that appealing anymore :X
  • Dude... this is SO strange. Think they have a room they just leave empty? What a pain in the ass for the staff to have to move the bed in and out.
