Sad day....

Well, the baby test today was a no so I'm feeling a little blue tonight.  I picked up that book that Krista told me about at the last GTG "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and I'll see what that has to offer.  What was the supplement you mentioned that night Krista?  We are going to try one more month before we get checked out.....

Re: Sad day....

  • That's a great book. Check out the getting pregnant board if you haven't already. Fertility Friend can be a helpful site also.

I don't know what supplement was mentioned, but many girls start prenatals as soon as they are TTC.

    Good luck!

  • I also recommend using CBE Ovulation tests. I wasn't disciplined enough for charting, so I just used those tests the week I thought I was ovulating, and we had sex every other day.
  • Sorry to hear about the BFN.  I definitely recommend charting.  We were not TTC when my H was home but I used it as a way to know when we should use BC.  I found it very easy with Fertility Friend.  Good luck!  And don't forget to start your PNV if you haven't already.

  • Sorry to hear about the negative today :(  Glad you picked up the book...I have found it really helpful for getting in tune with my cycle.  I use fertility friend to chart and once I got in the routine of taking my temp each day, it really is not that bad.

The supplement I have been taking is called virtex.  I would wait until you chart for a while bc it is specifically for helping with increasing the luetal phase (time between ovulation and your period) and for bringing on ovulation.  If you are ovulating, it won't do muhc for you.  However, GNC does have a section with all types of herbal supplements for women, I know there is one called "fertility blend" or something like that.

    Good luck!

  • I'm so sorry Stacy.  I hope that the book helps :)
