Curious if anyone has any financial planners they would recommend. We are looking for someone not trying to tell us on their products (as I know 99.9% of the time they are not in our best interest, but for the planner to make income) but a planner who accepts a certain fee per meeting and just tells you what to do/where to go type thing. We've tried asking friend and family and I've looked around on the internet...
And since I don't have any leave after maternity leave, and most planners don't work past 5, we'd like someone towards Dayton, I'd say West Chester being the absolute farthest south we could make it in time.
Oh, and we don't have a HUGE amount to invest, only about $30K in savings, and the rest of our bases covered (retirement, life insurance, etc) so I know a lot fo places won't even talk to us with such "little" net worth.
