Mad Men Yourself
Here's mine:

Re: Mad Men Fans?
Do it! The 3rd season is about to start on 8/16. I'm sure they are, or will be, running marathons of the previous seasons. We got into it right before the 2nd season started and they were showing a marathon of the 1st season. It's one of those shows that you can sit there and watch episode after episode because you have to know what happens next. I cannot express how much I love this show. It's unhealthy.
Yep! It feels like I've been waiting forever for it to start back up.

Gipper--we are Mad Men FREAKS!!! Last year we randomly watched an ep from the middle of Season 1 and even though we didn't really know who/what/where/why, we got immediately drawn to it. It's ridiculous how good the writing, acting, and storylines are! We have been telling as many of our friends as possible about it to spread the word and the Mad Men love...
I'm foaming at the mouth I can hardly wait for Season 3! AAAAhhh!!!
No! Is it the current issue? I read an article in Friday's Wall Street Journal about the predominately women writers of the show. It also listed the inspirational books all of the writers are asked to read and now I want to check them out -- Sex and the Single Girl, The Feminine Mystique, John Cheever's short stories, The Girls in the Office, The Fifties .... and the movie The Apartment. I'm probably forgetting one or two.
ITA! They have really set the bar high for themselves in the upcoming seasons.

Here you go. It's Annie L, and it's gorgeous!
We're always talking at our agency about how we wish we could have worked in the glory days of advertising with gin lunches. But then all I would have been able to do would be serve copy and type!
