hung out with the neighbors, unsuccessfully went shopping for an oven, saw public enemies. um, I think that's it?
this week: going to the dentist for a cleaning in a few, I think I'm going to watch julie & julia. by myself.
This weekend we celebrated some birthdays and watched UFC.
Today I'm leaving for the river for a couple days! Then Friday I want to see Time Traveler's Wife.
Friday: Drove to San Diego. Checked into Hotel Solamar ($81/night special). Dinner at Cafe Chloe. Cupcakes at Heavenly Cupcake.
Saturday: Quick brunch at Cafe Noir. Zoo. Explored Elephant Odyssey. Manicure and pedicure. Five-course tasting at JSix (20% off and 1,000 OpenTable points). Cupcakes at Heavenly Cupcake. Again.
Sunday: All-you-can-eat churrascaria lunch at Rei Do Gado. Wild Animal Park. Saw baby cheetahs. Saw lions. Saw meerkats at feeding time. Deluxe Photo Caravan -- only two people on tour (usually up to 14). Fed giraffes acacia leaves. Fed rhinos apple slices. Pet rhinos. Drove home.
This week: Work.
i am exhausted. i guess i am too damn old.
friday: jonas brothers at staples center.
saturday: jonas brothers at staples center, followed by honor society afterparty at club nokia, across the street.
sunday: teen choice awards at gibson ampitheatre. capped off by delicious garlic chicken and rice from versailles.
this week: the teen is home, so i'm looking forward to hanging out with her for our last week of summer vacation together.
Fri: dinner with DH and study
Sat: long run and study, drove to LA for sushi Katsuya and Menchie's, so great.
Sun: exam (crying), gym, pizza with the mbocs!
This week: torture at work. I'm swamped.

Friday we stayed in and watched a movie. Saturday we drove down to Newport and went whale watching - tons of fun, and we actually saw some whales! Sunday I stayed at home, H had to fly out for work in the morning.
This week: work! So tired right now, I had a weird spell of insomnia last night and only slept 4 hours.
Friday---class followed by pizza night at home
Saturday--class (my last Saturday one thank god) flew to Vegas and had a quiet evening and went out for tapas
Sunday--pool time and relaxing
This week---tons of meetings and work
My parents were in town this weekend. Saturday we went to eh Sawdust Festival and then dinner at Old Vine. Sunday we went to brunch and then I sat around all day.
This is my last FULL week of vacation...I go back next Wednesday. Bah.
R didn't get to come home until 9am this morning, so most of our plans were shot. I ended up spending most of my time cleaning & organizing around the house while taking care of our heart patient foster puppy.

Friday: BBQ'd and watched a fairly bad horror/thriller that H complained about, but I thought was no worse than his beloved "House of 1000 corpses"
Saturday: 14 mile run, relaxed by the pool and read, and then great times at the OC Fair!
Sunday: 7.68 mile run, followed by a whole lotta nothing. We did BBQ and watch The Changeling

Friday - made deep dish pizza from scratch and hung up with my sister
Sat - drove up to my parents house to spend time with them before they all go back east
took my sister to harry potter
Sun - more time in the IE with my fam and came back and finished uploading vacation pics
Couldnt sleep last night and got maybe 3 hrs of sleep so todays going to blow!
This week - prepping for the ILs bday party we're hosting this wkend
Friday - Drove home from Napa and mourned the fact that our mini-getaway/my bday celebration was all done.
Saturday - Cleaned the house, Bday BBQ for my cousin that night. His band played and they were really good! Sat up til 3am finishing a book that I fell in love with.
Sunday - Hang out at home, get read for Monday.
Today - back at work. boooo!
This week - Not much. H is out of town this week so I have a quiet house to myself. Dr. appt this week, the only upside of which is I'm taking the rest of the day off.
Friday: Quiet evening in with MH...so nice!
Saturday: finalized our tile for the shower...yay! May have an installer for said shower tile ...yay!! Went to my grandparents house to hang with some family and had her famous lemon cake! Also found out that Sonic sells its ice...YAY!!! Watched movies at home the rest of the night.
Sunday: Weekly coffee date, shopping at Ross for a few random odd's and ends ( yoga ball, receiving blankets etc...) laid in bed the rest of the day, except to go to SP...yay!
This week:
Many doc appts and hopefully lunch out at the end of the week!

Weekends are too short. Friday - Angel game, fantastic seats, good friends & good times
Sat - looked at some open houses, went to a friend's [crazy fire across the street provided entertainment for a while - hot firefighters!], yummy dinner, early night
Sun - 7 mile run, 5 mile hike, margs at Javier's, and a family birthday
This week - looking forward to having Friday off and heading down to Del Mar. Not looking forward to the 16 mile run that I need to fit in somewhere.

Friday: finished the apartment
Sat: Wedding in SD. I was super fun watchinf DH bust out the white kid dance in full effect.
Sun:Church, BBQ party in Misson Bay, and playing with my nephew
This week: Langugae Arts Training for my district, increasing running milage, and working on my classroom.
