Visiting DFW... hotel/restaurant recs?
Hi!
Me, DH and the girls will be visiting DFW in November to see DH's mom and brother. I've never been, so I don't have a clue what to expect!
Does anyone have hotel recommendations? We're looking for a moderately priced hotel that has amenities like wifi and is family friendly. We're also looking for things to do while we're there... I'm not sure MIL will be much help with that.

I noticed you are from RI - I moved to Fort Worth from Providence in February for DH's job - we're in the middle of a few sets of visitors (all the teachers in between summer and regular school) - there are a lot of fun things to do here.
Do you know if you'd like to stay closer to Dallas or Fort Worth, or what the name of the city is that your MIL lives in?
I guess she lives about 20 minutes away from downtown Dallas. When I did a mapquest search from her address and searched for the closest hotels, they were all in Mesquite (about 2 miles away from her apartment). But I think we'd like to stay downtown, or somewhere close to the touristy attractions.
