Recommend Your Vet

We live in the Voorhees/Gibbsboro area and are adopting a puppy. We have to set up a first vet visit before we can take her home. Any vets you love? Any places to steer clear of? Thanks.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz

Re: Recommend Your Vet

  • My family's always used Chews Landing Veterinary Hospital on Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Twp.  Long story short, after a bad incident years ago at a groomer's my dog's been petrified of the vet.  For his annual check-ups, he sees the female vet, Dr. Barrett, who's great with him.  I know he's also seen the other doctors in there at some point or another and they've all been great.
  • this might not be that close for you, but not too far either :) We use Pitman Animal Hospital. Dr. Melissa Case-Miller. The hospital and her are great!
  • When I lived in Voorhees, I used Dr. Marc's in the Genardi's shopping center on white horse road.  A very nice office, the staff is great - they had rotating doctors, but I found them to be very nice,,,never had to wait long for an appointment. Never had any procedures done there for my cat except for routine annual exams and I brought our yellow lab puppy there too...

Now I use Gloucester County Animal Hospital (I moved to Deptford) - Dr. Trail in Sewell - he is GREAT.  My pets had several procedures done there - they are EXCELLENT...great care and follow up...good luck!

  • I've heard that Marlton Animal Hospital is pretty good.  I don't know if it's too far for you, but we had to take my dog for an ER visit to Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital once and we loved the people there.  They have a few vets for regular visit hours.  If we didn't live so far, we would take our dog there. GL

Ditto this exactly.  Melissa is a close family friend of ours and is by far the best Vet EVER!  I'm not just saying that either.  We knew her while she was still in vet school and if ever a person was meant to be a vet it was her.

  • We go to Clementon Animal Hospital which is on the White Horse Pike. I love Dr. Lyons.

I also use Dr. Marc's, it's called Voorhees Veterinary Center.  856-435-8090 We also use them for grooming.  One of my dogs had to have emergency surgury there on his bladder and they were wonderful.  He loves them.

  • I also use Chews Landing Vet.  I moved further out, but still commute there.
  • We use Evesham Vet on 73 South right across from the Target in Voorhees. ?We love them!
  •  A little ways, but we use and love Greenfields Vet. in West Deptford.
