A cautionary tale for fibbers

Once upon a time, there was a higher up manager in a company who was out for the day "working from home", while the peon's toiled and busted their tushies in the office. He was a very busy boss so he couldn't be disturbed.

But come midafternoon, a phone call came saying the mucky-muck manager was injured in a freak fall! "Oh no," cried the peons! Whatever was he doing while working so hard that caused him injury?

Golfing.

And they lived mildly disgruntled ever after.

  • lol- how do you suffer a "freak fall" while golfing?

Haha!  There must be a lot of people who say they are "working" and are golfing because there are always people golfing behind my house and I can't believe that they never have jobs to go to.

  • LOL, I work at a golf course for the summer and I often wonder how people have off during the middle of the day that they are able to randomly come golfing. Granted I know people work various shifts, but now this confirms that they are 'working from home.' Haha.

On a side note, I hope he wasn't injured at the golf course where I work seeing as we live in the same general area :)

  • maybe he had 1 too many beverages and fell out of the golf cart?
  • Some claim "business meeting" for the golf outing and then use it as a business expense right off.

  • He was walking and the ground sunk away beneath his feet, and he fell.

    Hmmmm.....

Blame it on the rain eroding the soil under the grass. Or just call it good ol' fashioned karma.

I myself like the karma option.
