I've been living with a bad haircut

I've been going to a woman here in Forest Hills that Joanna recommended.  At first, I liked the way she cut my hair but not the way she styled it afterward.  I decided that if I liked the cut that was good enough.  Last time, the cut was bad.  Not terrible but not good either.  The layers are choppy and uneven which is very evident on my wavy hair, plus something is happening with the bangs that made them not easy to deal with right from the start.

So, anyway, I am set on finding the next good haircut which I will need to get within the next few weeks (before school starts again) so that I can feel human again.  Thanks for all the suggestions below.

Re: I've been living with a bad haircut

  • If you'll come out to Great Neck, I had THE most amazing cut/color at the Thomas Cole Salon... it's a tiny little place but everyone is so sweet. There's also a lot of parking nearby.
  • If you want to go to Manhattan Topher at Arrojo salon is great. And although expensive, he's got some specials going on. From his fb page

Topher Gross said 2-4-1 haircuts with me on Wed and Thur until the end of August! Bring a new-to-salon friend and get 50% off! If you don't have any friends, I'm the featured stylist the week of August 17th--you can get 25% off. Call Arrojo Studio at 212-242-7786 for details!
