It's getting a bit quiet around here...

I'm hoping the end isn't in sight for our fabulous board! I can't think of anything good to post or ask, but I figured I would say hi to everyone.

Jen and Kelly - how are you both doing? Feeling healthy and well I hope! Who has exciting news to share?

Happy Wednesday!

  • Big Smilei've been around most of the day but nothing really great to post. I did register for an online medical coding school. I got all my financial aid crap situated, and i got my user name and password for the site today! YAY! That means I can start taking my classes as soon as I get home today! (but im getting my hair done today so Im going to start tomorrow). I'm VERY excited about this! The program is a medical coding certificate. It's a 12 month program, but the advisor said plan on doing a class a month. It's based completely online. It's 10 courses. So its 10 months I guess. I'm going to try and complete it in shorter then 10 months. This is my ticket out of my current employer.  So i'm very motivated!

  • Lisa,

Did you ever get an appt for you tingly butt and legs? =)

  • Actually yes...I went to a sports-oriented chiropractor this afternoon. There aren't a lot of sports medicine docs around here and I've heard most MD's will just refer you to physical therapy or give you drugs. (muscle relaxers, cortisone, etc.) My insurance doesn't cover PT but it does cover chiropractors (go figure). So I figured I would just head straight there.

I think it helped. If you're interested in a full report, I posted on Health &Fitness. A gal there said she was having the same problems and wanted to know how it went for me.

Thanks for remembering about my butt ailment Smile

  • It is so quiet lately, but it seems like nothing exciting is happening for me to share I guess. Not a lot of people can be on at work anymore, which is a bummer...

  • I wish I could be on here more again! ugh. I hate sharing an office w/someone esp. since she ALWAYS looks over my shoulder. o well atleast its a job right?

I am so mad at my school. I owe them 200 from last semester, which is what my pell grant didnt cover, but they wont just take it out of the pell grant for this semester...I dont know why because I am getting a lot more this semester so they can just have it....no I have to pay it then wait to get the money back. DH is not very happy about this one right now, and I cant start classes until I pay it either...

  • DH and I were away Mon/Tues and yesterday was too busy at work for me to be back on. I'm around today and then off again tomoorw (in our NYC office).

I am feeling pretty good.  I never like to wish summer away but, I am really looking to the fall this year as I'm not handling the heat/humidity very well being pregnant. Bring on the cool crisp weather, please!!!

Lisa - glad you are getting some relief.

Jena - Yay for starting your school program.  Good luck with it.

bkenan - Thats nuts that they can't just move the funds around.  Financial Aid rules never made a lot of sense to me when I was in school either.  I hope that you are reimbursed quickly!

Meag - Happy to see you!
