We have actualy found something we both like and, we are waiting to hear back about a counter offer we gave yesterday.
We found a house thursday in Galloway and put an offer in friday morning, and we were told there were 3 other offers already on the house. It is a forclosure so all offers were being submitted to the bank and we had to wait for their decision. our REA called them again on monday and apparently who ever he had talked to friday didnt know what they were talking about, we were the only offer. They countered our offer, for an additional 5k, so we countered back with the best we could, and asked for some back for closing. after we get that back they will still get what they are asking. Hopefully they will take it and we hear back soon. This whole house hunting thing has been so frustrating.
Have you closed on your house yet? or was that not until the end of the month?
hopefully we'll hear back soon. They responded within 2 days to our original offer, so Im keeping fingers crossed to hear something by the end of the week. I hear you about just wanting to get finsihed with all of this mess and just move in already. at least you only have a couple more weeks left
