Hi Sarah,
I hope you don't mind but I have a CP question for you.
I am expecting a package from the US it was shipped on the third and got to customs on the 7th but hasn't moved since then, should I be concerned that it has spent so long sitting in customs (in Vancouver if that makes a difference)? I tend to get a bit concerned with packages because one of our mail carriers delivered a couple of packages to the wrong house and those people accepted them and opened them and then called us weeks later to tell us they had them. Their address is 123 abc street and ours is 123 abd street, I was a bit ticked and I am sure if the woman opened this package she would happily keep its contents.
How are you feeling?
Re: Mrs_Sarah
I wouldn't be too worried about a delay at customs, sometimes they are backed up and things sit there for a while, it could mean though that they have opened the package (you'll get a notice if they do).
Otherwise it's possible that the acceptance scan at the next facility didn't happen or hasn't loaded yet. We only update our system every 24 hours (which yes I know is ridiculous) and it won't catch anything out of the ordinary (like a missed scan).
Just as an FYI though - if it does go on for a while, only the shipper can start the search with CP for the whereabouts of the parcel.
And I'm feeling really good thanks - no complaints! Baby has really started to move this week, I'm feeling it more and more which is really neat.
Thanks!
The movement is fun especially when they first get really moving! I can't believe your 30 weeks already, holy smokes, everyone elses pregnancy seems to be flying by for me, mine not so much!
