3 Month Ideas

Hey, I'm coming up on our 3 months from the wedding.  Any ideas to celebrate?  We really don't have a lot of money, so something easy would be nice.  What are you going to do or what did you do for your 3 months.

Congrats too for our 3 months.  That's 1/4 of a year. :)

Re: 3 Month Ideas

  • Ours was Sunday and all we did was say Happy 3 Months to each other when we woke up.  It would have been fun to do something to celebrate but we just didn't have time with everything going on.

  • We've been doing cute things for each month - just little things though. No need to go all crazy or anything :) I usually make a fun dessert and we watch a movie together or something. Nothing too far out of the usual.

  • We didn't do anything for our 3 months. I don't see the point in doing something each month... but maybe that's just me.

  • I agree with Brittany. I really don't see a reason to celebrate months... I mean we didn't celebrate month-iversaries when we were dating or engaged so why celebrate them through our marriage? I mean we're going to be together forever, and that's A LOT of 16ths - every day together is special for us so why make a big deal of one particular day each month? JMO.

  • We celebrated monthiversaries when we were dating and engaged.  DH isn't the best with "just because" things so it's nice knowing that I can usually count on something sweet at least once a month.  It's never anything big, usually just a date night but it ensures we get in at least one date a month with everything else going on.

  • We always celebrated month-aversaries.  Even after we were dating for a year we'd always say how many months we've been together.  We'll probably just make a nice dinner and hang out.  Just thought I'd ask.
  • Thats too much celebrating. I would rather have a big yearly anniversary. We tell each other we love each other everyday more than once. That is plenty for me :)

  • DH will still be in Russia for our three months, just like he was for our 2 months.  We don't really do monthly things anyway.  Probably just remark, "Wow, can you believe it's been three months already?"

My grandmother remarried after my grandfather died, and they celebrated every month, since they figured they wouldn't have too many anniversaries together (they were in their 60s when they married).  Turns out they were married for more than 20 years before my granddaddy died!

  • Good for you for celebrating! If you enjoy doing so, then that is "the point", unlike some of the girls here, I think it is sweet and endearing that you are celebrating. We won't be doing anything, but mainly because he will be out of town.
