Just to complement Bonnie's family drama...
You guys remember how I struggled over whether or not to accept my dad's wife's request to be my friend on FB. I had decided to accept. DH did as well. Well, recently I noticed that she is longer our friend. Sometime after my heartfelt, but somewhat bitchy, email to my dad and canceling the trip to visit, she must have un-friended us.

Amy, I come to the realization that most families suck. They are usually the biggest part of heartache in your life. DH and I are even thinking of possibly not having kids because this world suck so much. Don't get me wrong...there is a lot of good things in life, but for the most part, there are a lot of bad things. It's such a shame.
As for your step mother, F her! You don't need her FB "friendship". If she wants to act like a 2 year old, let her. I decided today that I will no longer partake in any discussion about my family to my family. I don't want to hear and I don't care about them, so they are officially wiped out of my mind. I'm talking about my dad's family. As for my bro, he's my bro...even if he is a frigg'n idiot.
